South Slope Summer Stroll
When: Friday, July 26, 5pm to 9pm
Where: 5th Avenue from 12th Street to 18th Street
What: The South Slope Summer Stroll is back for the second week in a row. More of a block party than a street fair, the area between 12th and 18th will be closed to traffic (be sure to move your car by 4pm), so neighbors can grab a beer while the kids enjoy face painting, a bouncy house, hula hoops, sidewalk chalk, vintage cars, live music, dance lessons in the street, and even a giant rock climbing wall from Brooklyn Boulders. For more information, visit the 5th Avenue BID website.

When: Saturday, July 27, 8pm
Where: 444 7th Avenue at 15th Street
What: Come show some love to local favorite Bar 4 as they kick off their final weeks in South Slope with an impressive lineup of music Saturday night. Check out the Bar 4 website for videos from the scheduled artists.
