South Brooklyn Shakespeare founders (and South owners) Paul Molnar and Dee-Byrd Molnar are bringing Shakespeare back to the parking lot this summer, but in order to spread the bard’s word across the Slope, they need a little neighborhood help.

Last year’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream was so successful, the company is kicking it up to three performances, set to take place in different locations around the neighborhood:

• Friday, July 25, 7:30pm (5th Avenue between 17th & 18th Sts)
• Saturday, July 26, 2:30pm (7th Avenue between 12th & 13th Sts)
• Friday, August 15, 7:30pm (5th Avenue at Dean St)

While all performances are free to the public, it costs a pretty penny to produce the shows. This is where you come in. Paul and Dee have launched a Kickstarter campaign to help cover this year’s production, and at the time of this posting, have already raised $1,190 of their $3,000 goal.
