Sounds Of Sinatra Coming To Parkville Fields

Carl Thomas and his Sounds of Sinatra, Darin & Martin will be crooning their way to a park near you this July.

The free family concert will take place on the Parkville Fields, located at 65th Street and 8th Avenue, on July 29. The event, which will last two and a half hours, begins at 7 pm. In case of rain, a hotline has been set up at 718 236-7547. According to Brooklyn.com, cancellation due to weather will be announced by 5 pm on the day of the show.

The gratis gathering is being sponsored by the Bay Ridge-Bensonhurst Beautification and Preservation Alliance, Southwest Brooklyn Parks Task Force, and State Senator Marty Golden.

State Senator Marty Golden represents District 22, which includes Bay Ridge, Dyker Heights, Gerritsen Beach and Marine Park; as well as parts of Bensonhurst, Midwood, Gravesend and Sheepshead Bay.
