SONYA Artwalk Festivities Kick Off Thursday And Run Through Sunday
The South of the Navy Yard Artists (SONYA) Artwalk is back for another extended weekend of celebrating art and artists created and based in Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, and Wallabout, and we have the schedule for the next few days.
Tomorrow, Thursday, May 28, kicks off the SONYA Preview Social at Alice’s Arbor (549 Classon Avenue) from 7-9pm. Stop by and mingle with artists whose studios will be open all weekend, as well as local merchants who and art-lovers who are helping to make the festivities a fun reality!
On Friday, May 29, artist Laura Pawson will be on hand at FAB Friday at Fowler Square (at the intersection of Fulton Street and Lafayette Avenue) from 4-6pm helping kids of all ages in making their very own Dreamcatcher. Then on Saturday, May 30 through Sunday, May 31, the SONYA Open Studios begins from 12-6pm on both days. Download the map of all artist studios over at SONYAOnline.org, or enlarge the map below.
