Snowy Owl Spotted Near Verrazano Narrows Bridge

Our sister site Sheepshead Bites has just published photos of something that’s a rare sight in NYC – a Snowy Owl in its “natural” habitat. The pics were recently taken from a fishing boat off a small island just south of the Verrazano Narrows Bridge. The fisherman/photographer is the friend of a reader.
