Smith-9th Street Subway Station Stabbing

GOWANUS – A man was stabbed on the G train at the Smith-9th Street Subway Station this afternoon after intervening in a fight.
According to cops, after a fight broke out inside the G train at around 3:55 p.m., a 48-year-old man intervened and ended up getting stabbed once in the arm. He was taken to Methodist Hospital. Information on his condition was not yet available at post time.
Both the F and G lines were facing delays because of the investigation, but service has been resumed.

As of this time, no arrests have been made and no information on the suspects was provided by the NYPD.
