Slope Nutrition Open On 5th Avenue
Slope Nutrition opened last month at 537 5th Avenue between 14th and 15th streets, replacing Brooklyn EyeWorks Optical.
The nutrition and supplement store is owned by Jason and Janilsa Monge. The couple recently moved to 14th Street, but Janilsa grew up in the neighborhood and her family owns the flower shop two doors down.
The couple says they’ve been partnering with many of the gyms and fitness studios in the area, and they plan to have a table out for Summer Strolls later this month.
The Monges say they are excited to be open and say they’ve already had a lot of support from the community.
