Slope Cuts Barber Shop Opens On 7th Avenue
We’ve got a new barber shop in town! Slope Cuts opened on 7th Avenue and Prospect Avenue December 4, and offers neighbors a super laid back vibe, with very reasonable prices.
Owner Avi Gavlaev, shown above (right) with barbers Anthony Hagan (center), and Arc Avizbakiyev (left), is no stranger to running a business, and has another barber shop located on Long Island.
The shop caters to men, women, and children, but there is an obvious emphasis on services for men (it is a barber shop, after all).
There is a great children’s station, though, complete with snazzy red race car chair, which Avi says kids go nuts for.
Haircuts start at $13 for children under 12 and for seniors, and go up to $17 for adults (which isn’t too shabby), so if you find yourself on 7th Avenue, be sure to stop by and welcome Avi, Anthony and Arc to the neighborhood!
Slope Cuts is located at 498 7th Avenue at Prospect Avenue. Hours are Mondays – Wednesdays 9am to 7pm, Thursdays 9am to 8pm, Fridays 9am to Sundown, Saturdays Closed, and Sundays 10am to 7pm. Walk-ins are welcome, but if you would like to schedule an appointment, call the shop at 347-689-4143.
