New York City public schools let out this Thursday for spring break, and if you haven’t already, there’s still time to sign your child up for spring break camp. From robot-making to an eye on sustainability to a whole lot of field trips, there are lots of fun programs to choose from:

The Park Slope Day Camp
339 8th Street, 718-788-PSDC (7732)
For children entering grades PreK-7
The Spring Break Mini Camp runs from 8am-4pm (with an option for an extended day through 6:30pm), and kids can go for the full week (Monday through Friday), or at minimum two days, to enjoy a variety of activities and field trips.

KidVentures NYC
194A 22nd Street, #1, Brooklyn, NY 11232
Contact: kidventuresnyc@gmail.com, 718-473-6872
With a drop-off and pick-up location at JJ Byrne playground on 4th Avenue and 4th Street, this week-long spring break camp is convenient. It runs Monday-Friday, 8:45am-3pm. Kids will create art projects, hear stories, and learn songs relating to the adventure — to one of many NYC cultural institutions — of the day.

Spoke the Hub
748 Union Street, Park Slope, 718-408-3234
For children between the ages of 7-12
Running Monday-Friday from 9:30am-5pm, the week is all about being green — from healthy movements and eating, to community gardening and creative art projects.

Park Explorers
611 8th Avenue, Park Slope, 718-788-3620
For children between the ages of 3-14
The spring break camp runs Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4pm, with optional extended hours provided. Kids will enjoy a variety of indoor and outdoor activities and trips.

Beam Center
60 Sackett Street, Carroll Gardens, 347-470-6747
For children in grades 2-6
Their spring break day camp runs from 9am-4:30pm, with drop-off beginning at 8am and pick-up going through 5:30pm. Kids will explore a single concept, theme, or raw material — think “wood,” “color,” “the future” — through different media and creative practices with Beam Center’s faculty.

Brooklyn Robot Foundry
303 4rd Avenue, Gowanus, 347-762-6840
For children in grades K-4
Sign up by the day or for the whole week, which runs from 9am-3pm daily. The theme for the week is springs — think slinkies, pop-up toys, wind-up cars, bobbleheads — if it’s got a spring in it, the kids will be making it!
