Signage Up For New Deli On 5th Avenue

Looks like the new deli coming to the former Balance Life space on 5th Avenue is getting very close to opening.

A sign for South Slope Subs “N” Stuff went up recently at 624 5th Avenue, between 17th and 18th Streets, where the health food store closed last summer.

As we heard back in September when the began renovations, the space is promising to be a deli, and as fans of a good sandwich brought right to our doorstep, it’s nice to hear they’ll be offering delivery. And beer — though as we know, it’ll be hard to beat the selection next door at Eagle.
