Spend 2014 surrounded by copious amounts of tasty fruit and veg by joining the Greenwood Heights CSA.

There are a few vegetable and egg shares remaining for the upcoming season, which runs June 7 through November 1. Fruit shares are also available, and run from July 5 through November 1. Organizers note, though, that slots are filling up fast, so if you’re interested in signing up, the time is now.

The CSA requires members to purchase a vegetable share, which goes from $570.00 for a full share (that you would pick up every week), to $300 for a half share (which you pick up every other week). Prices for the optional fruit and egg shares can be found on the CSA website.

Distribution takes place on Saturdays from 9am to 11pm at Slope Park (6th Avenue, between 17th and 18th Streets), and it’s important to note that the CSA asks all members to work one distribution shift per season. That’s not so bad, though, when you consider all the fantastic produce you’re going to be rocking.
