Sign Up & Dress Up for Prospect Park’s CostumeCon 5K

Crazy fun excuse to get dressed up in a wacky costume for charity alert!!

April 21 marks the inaugural CostumeCon 5k in Prospect Park, benefiting the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, founded in 1988 by Paul Newman to give children battling serious illness a place to just be kids, free of charge.

The race, which starts at 8am and makes one loop around Prospect Park, will award $5,000 in cash prizes for best kids costume, best group costume with 2 or more participants, most creative costume, sexiest costume, and all around best costume.

Registration, which closes April 19, is $40 for individuals, $40 for a team of 2 or more, and $20 for kids.

Looking for a bigger challenge? Take part in the 15K, which starts at 7:30am and makes three loops around the park. Registration for the 15K is $50.
