Shred Fest Is At Bensonhurst Park This Sunday
Got a stack of papers with sensitive personal information sitting around that you’ve been meaning shred? This is the weekend to do it!
Shred Fest, the city’s annual event to help New Yorkers prevent identity theft, is taking place at Bensonhurst Park (Cropsey Avenue and Bay 29th Street) on Sunday, May 17 from 10am-4pm.
You’ll be able to shred papers containing personal information for free using a shredding truck, and they’ll have tips on identity theft prevention.
Just be sure to arrive early — the shredding truck will be available until 4pm, or until it fills up, which may be sooner.
