I got left out in the rain yesterday. This is not the way I wanted to make my debut on the site, and I just barely made it, too; just as the photographer started clicking, the guy who brought me to the corner of East 18th Street and Avenue V jumped out of his minivan where he was sitting sheltered and dry.

I could hear him brusquesly asking, ” Hey! What do you think you’re doing? I’m about to to take that cart back.”

After hearing the answer about writing stories about shopping carts, he scurried back for cover, leaving my cute Underberg self to be photographed.
