Shoplifter Bites Store Clerk Over Bottle Of Soap
FORT GREENE – Police are searching for the woman seen in the below photo in connection to a robbery that occurred over the weekend.
At approximately 6:30pm on Sunday, September 17, the woman helped herself to a bottle of body soap at a store located at 635 Fulton Street in Fort Greene, according to police.
A male store employee got into a struggle with the woman when he tried to stop her, police say. The woman allegedly pushed the employee and bit his right thumb before fleeing the scene. The victim was taken to Brooklyn Hospital where he received three stitches.
Police describe the suspect as a black woman, approximately 35- to 50-years-old, 5′ 6″ and 200 pounds. She was last seen wearing a denim hat, a tan shirt with a black shirt beneath, and blue jeans.
