Shooting Victim Loses Control of Car in Crown Heights Friday Morning

CROWN HEIGHTS – A man lost control of his car in Crown Heights after being shot early Friday morning, the NYPD says.

While driving away after being shot once in the stomach at around 3:30 a.m., the  victim’s car, a Nissan Maxima, flipped over after hitting a parked car near 712 Crown Street, off Schenectady Avenue, according to police. The NYPD says the 37-year-old man was taken to Kings County Hospital where he is in stable condition.

Police are looking for a male suspect who they say fired multiple rounds at the victim. No arrests have been made and an investigation is underway.
