Sheepshead Man Shot and Killed in East Flatbush

EAST FLATBUSH – Last night, a man was shot to death on an East Flatbush street, a little before 10:00 pm, police confirmed.

Responding to a 911 call of a man shot in front of 327 East 55th Street, off Church Avenue, police arrived to find the body of 25-year old Neyon Hamilton, unconscious and unresponsive on the ground.

Hamilton, a resident of Sheepshead Bay, had been shot multiple times, suffering gunshot wounds to his back, his torso, and his left arm, groin and thigh, said police.

Responding EMS transported Hamilton to nearby Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. An investigation into the homicide is underway, but so far, there have been no arrests.
