Sheepshead Bay Salvation Army Store Moving To A New Location On Nostrand Avenue

After almost eight years in business, the Salvation Army thrift shop at 3718 Nostrand Avenue will soon close its doors. But for those who noticed the “for rent” sign outside and worry about where to score knick knacks, inexpensive clothing, or just need a spot to drop off donations, don’t worry. The store will reopen this fall in a larger space only a few blocks down the street.

Tim Raines, the marketing manager for the Salvation Army, confirmed their Sheepshead Bay shop is closing, but said the store was being moved further down Nostrand Avenue to a location twice the size of the current store.

Raines could not provide a specific date for when the current location will close, but said the new store will open sometime in the fall. Once we know the new address and opening date, we will let you know.
