Two Robberies In The Neighborhood Last Thursday

A man with a gun robbed the IQRA Pharmacy on Flatbush Avenue near Cortelyou Road around 6:30pm on Thursday night, according to the New York Post. He entered the pharmacy and told the worker behind the counter to empty the register. The man made off with about $150 in cash. Police told the Post the suspect is about 6 feet tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds.

The Post also reports another robbery on Thursday evening. An armed man robbed Ashoka Grill on Flatbush Avenue near Farragut Road around 8pm. Pointing a gun at a worker, the robber told him to fill a plastic bag with cash. The worker handed over about $72 and the suspect ran south on Flatbush Avenue.
