Senator Golden Announces Lineup For Free Summer Concert Series

Looking to boogie down at your local park this summer? Senator Marty Golden has announced the lineup for his free summer concert series. The musical acts offer a little something for everyone — there’s a mix of classic tunes, golden oldies, Disco and Doo Wop.

“We have a quality lineup of entertainment, so mark your calendar, bring a chair, or a blanket, and make your way to the shows in our beautiful parks,” Golden said in a statement.

Golden partnered with the Southwest Brooklyn Parks Task Force to put together the lineup, which includes 14 shows between early July and late August.

All shows are free and begin at 7pm.

Here’s the lineup:

July 5: Head Over Heels – Classic Rock & Dance: 79th Street & Shore Road
July 6: New York Exceptions – Oldies 50’s-70’s: Marine Park (Fillmore Avenue)
July 12: Radio Daze – 70’s, 80’s & Party Music: 79th Street & Shore Road
July 13: London Fogg- British Invasion & Much More: Marine Park (Fillmore Avenue)
July 19: Brooklyn Keys- Doo Wop, Disco, Rock n Roll: 79th Street & Shore Road
July 20: Plastic Soul – Beatles Tribute Band: Marine Park (Fillmore Avenue)
July 26: Frankie Marra Band – Classic Rock, Special Salute to Veterans & Memorial Day

July 27: Witness – Oldies thru 70’s: Marine Park (Fillmore Avenue)
Aug. 9: On A Good Run – Classic Rock: 79th Street and Shore Road
Aug. 10: Generation Gap – 60’s thru 90’s: Avenue U & Van Sicklen Street
Aug. 16: Carl Thomas – Sinatra, Darin, Martin & More: Dyker Park (86th Street & 14th Avenue)
Aug. 17: A Sound Affair – Will have you up dancing: Marine Park (Fillmore Avenue)
Aug. 23: The Bay Ridge St. Patrick’s Parade presents “Irish Night on Shore Road” featuring The “Canny Brothers”: 79th Street & Shore Road
Aug. 24: Sha-Doobie – Rolling Stones Tribute Band: Marine Park (Fillmore Avenue)

The summer concert series is supported by support of Tracey Real Estate, the Bay Ridge St. Patrick’s Day Parade, the Law Offices of Christopher James Patsos, LLC, Super Roofer, the Hen House, Dr. Vincent M. Adamo, Chiropractor, Mussels & More, and the Bay Ridge Manor.
