See “Subway Preacher” This Friday At All Souls Bethlehem Church
Ever wondered about the lives of the people you see discussing faith on the subway, or the folks in the Times Square station tunnel with all the scripture-bearing signs?
Dennis Ho’s 2010 documentary, Subway Preacher, takes a closer look at the experiences of those who dedicate their lives to spreading the good word via mass transit, and you can join Ho and All Souls Bethlehem Church (566 E 7th Street between Cortelyou Road and Ditmas Avenue) this Friday evening, March 28, for a free screening of the movie at 7pm.
Subway Preacher follows fascinating characters Brian, Shawn, Rose, and Kaitlin through a series of trials and tribulations above and below ground, and Friday night’s showing will be followed by a discussion with Ho himself about making the film. If you ask yourself questions about the people you see preaching on your daily commute, this event might be a good place to find some answers.
