See Free Live Performances During Make Music New York On Friday

Make Music New York, the festival of free concerts in public spaces around the city, is back for its seventh year this Friday, June 21, and once again we’ll have some fun acts to check out right here in the neighborhood. In addition to performances in front of the Cortelyou Library and at Newkirk Plaza, there are chances to hear some tunes at the Flatbush Caton Market, and along Flatbush Ave near the Junction.

Cortelyou Library Plaza (Cortelyou Rd at Argyle Rd)

11am-12pm: The Fuzzy Lemons (Indie-Rock, Kids, Rock)
2-2:30pm: PS 139 4th Grade Band (They’ll perform at the PS 139 playground)
3-3:45pm: The Sonnet Man (Hip-Hop, Kids)
4-5pm: Taylor Ivana (Pop, R&B)
