See Artist Jonathan Blum Speak at Temple Beth Emeth
Ditmas Park’s Eric Pesso was recently nominated for a show in the Brooklyn Museum. Eric is only one of 10 nominees and another artist is coming to our neighborhood to show off his work.
Another finalist, Park Slope’s Jonathan Blum, will be the speaker at Temple Beth Emeth’s Sisterhood Brunch, on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 10 am.
You can view some of Jonathan’s work on Flickr and on his personal site.
Jonathan will be speaking at the temple about his artwork, process and inspirations. He will also share some of his pieces.
In the wider world, Jonathan’s work can be spotted on the new mural he just painted on 4th Avenue in Park Slope, at an exhibit in the Green Building, or in Washington DC, Orlando, Berlin, Tel Aviv and more.
Temple Beth Emeth is located at 83 Marlborough Road (and Church Avenue). The cost of the brunch is $5 for members and $10 for non-members, which includes a buffet brunch prior to the presentation. RSVP’s are strongly encouraged, but not required. Please call 718-282-1596 or email at templebeth83@aol.com.
