Second Annual Fort Greene/Clinton Hill Senior Resource Fair Returns
The Fort Greene/Clinton Hill Senior Resource Fair returns tomorrow, March 29, from 11am to 2pm at Mercy Home at 273 Willoughby Avenue (at Classon Avenue).
The free event, presented by the Myrtle Avenue Revitalization Project (MARP) and its Senior Advisory Council, will feature 30 exhibitors sharing important information on senior resources and programs, such as transportation services, legal assistance, job placement, recreational activities, and online classes.
Some of the groups exhibiting include Access-A-Ride, MTA Reduced Fare Metro Card, the Good Neighbors Program, NY Foundation for Seniors’ Home Sharing Program, Heights & Hills, and the NYC Department of the Aging.
Several Myrtle Avenue businesses offering weekly senior discounts, specials, and other services will also be present including, Myrtle Drug Care Corp, Sandbox Pack & Ship, and TD Bank.
CityMeals on Wheels, LIU Platinum Sneakers, and Mark Morris Dance will also be there to tell attendees about special offers and programs for senior neighbors.
