WINDSOR TERRACE – Just 90 minutes after the tragic school shooting in Parkland, Florida that left 17 people dead, two teenage boys went to social media, threatening a shooting at Brooklyn Prospect Charter School.

“Don’t come to school tomorrow,” and “We’re gunning down tmrw,” the two teens allegedly wrote on Snapchat.

The Brooklyn Prospect Charter school is located on Fort Hamilton Parkway in Windsor Terrace.

According to the police, school officials were notified of the threats and immediately alerted the NYPD. One student turned himself in, while the other was arrested at his house, the NY Times reported. One student was also in possession of a BB gun, police confirm.

The 16-year-olds were both arrested on Thursday, February 15, and are charged with aggravated harassment, criminal possession of a weapon, and terrorist criminal threat.
