School PSA: New Grants Of Up To $25K Are Available

New grants of up to $25,000 per school are now available courtesy the Waltentas Family Foundation.

Applications are available to public and charter schools in District 13, which includes Clinton Hill and Fort Greene, and are being accepted through May 31. Winners will be announced in July with disbursements by September. A total of around $250,000 is expected to be granted.

“There is no restriction on the type of projects we will consider,” according to the grant’s site.

Grantees will be required to submit a progress report in January 2017 and a final report in June 2017.
