Save The Date: 773 Lounge’s Fundraiser Will Be Saturday, January 24

After a devastating fire destroyed 773 Lounge in November, you can help the bar that’s been a favorite watering hole in our neighborhood for decades at a fundraiser on Saturday, January 24 from 7-11pm at St. Thomas Aquinas (1550 Hendrickson Street, just off Flatbush Avenue).

There will be food and drinks available, as well as live music, a 50/50 raffle, and Chinese auctions and/or raffles for a variety of gifts and services.

The folks at 773 Lounge let us know that some of the items that will likely be up for bid could be a plaque from the bar or a barstool so “you’ll literally be helping to build the place up from the ground.”

For those of you who aren’t familiar with St. Thomas Aquinas, you can get there by taking the B41 bus that runs down Flatbush Avenue.

Even if you can’t go to the fundraiser (or you have a little extra to spare), you can donate to help rebuild 773 Lounge here, and you can follow the bar on Facebook for updates about its progress.

There will be more details in the coming weeks about the fundraiser, and we’ll keep you updated! We’re looking forward to clinking glasses with all our amazing neighbors from 773 Lounge – and we know our neighborhood will rally around the bar to help it look like this once again:
