Once bitten by the performance bug it’s hard to escape from the warm glow of a spotlight. If your kids (ages 7 to 12) are Broadway bound and looking to hone their skills this summer, be sure to check out the camp offerings from Brooklyn CenterStage.
Located in Gowanus (495 3rd Avenue at 11th Street), Brooklyn CenterStage gives budding thespians a theatrical experience like no other. Campers can look forward to voice, drama, tap, musical theater dance, acting with masks, stage combat and audition technique.
Master classes that introduce children to Broadway and Tony Award winning performers, directors, writers, and composers are also included in the camp sessions.
Brooklyn CenterStage offers two camp sessions: July 5 – 15 ($765) or July 18 – 29 ($850). Families who sign up before April 1 will receive $25 off the regular tuition prices – and since each session is capped at 20 kids, you’ll want to secure your spot ASAP!
