Saturday: Wish A Happy Grand Opening To JL Wellness At Jill Lindsey Boutique

Just in time for some pre-Chrismakwanzukkah pampering and relaxation, local entrepreneur Jill Lindsey has launched a brand new enterprise: JL Wellness, a “collective group of healers and wellness practitioners” offering everything from reiki and massage to aromatherapy and acupuncture.

Located in the basement of the existing Jill Lindsey boutique at 370 Myrtle Avenue, the effort is a natural extension of Lindsey’s ongoing goal to foster and build on a sense of community here in Fort Greene and Clinton Hill. As she told us in September:

“The main reason I opened the store was to not be stuck in specific product categories since I was making all kinds of things,” explained Lindsey. “So, [going forward], I’m focusing more on apparel and working with artists from other countries, and that we [already]carry here. I really don’t know what’s going to happen! I definitely want to keep the community growing.”

So stop by JL Wellness this weekend and any day going forward! But this weekend you can also hit up Jill Lindsey’s Holiday Market, and every Monday is “Magic Monday Massages” — 30 minute aromatherapy massage for $68 until 8pm.
