Saturday: Learn About Estate Planning For Free At The Cortelyou Library
This Saturday, May 2, head over to the Cortelyou Library (1305 Cortelyou Road) to learn what legal documents are absolutely necessary for every parent to have in order to secure their child’s guardianship and financial future, in case the unexpected happens.
The event, which is free and open to everyone, will take place from 10am to 12pm in the library’s community room.
Attorney Rosanna Roizin, the owner of Rosanna Roizin Law, will lead the discussion. Roizin concentrates her practice on trusts and estates, elder law and special needs planning.
Topics that will be discussed include:
- What is a will, and why do I need one as a young parent?
- How do I designate a guardian for my child if something happens to me?
- What is a trust and do I need one?
- What do I need to do if my child has special needs?
