Santa Claus is Coming to Town…In October

On a beautiful, crisp morning like today, one can’t help but think of vibrant autumn leaves, hot apple cider, pumpkins and Christmas.

Wait…Christmas?

The people over at Rite Aid (5th Avenue and 10th Street) are certainly hearing sleigh bells (or cash register chimes) because they’ve already started breaking out the holiday decorations.

We can’t even smell the turkey yet, Rite Aid. Setting up the Christmas isle in mid-November boarders on the trying, but setting it up in mid-October is absurd.

In fairness to the drugstore chain, we’re sure there are other stores out there jumping on the Christmas in October bandwagon. Have you spotted any around the neighborhood? Does this early saturation with the Christmas and Hanukkah season get you pumped for the holidays or make your stomach turn?
