SAFE Disposal Event Coming to Brooklyn April 7

If you’ve got unwanted medication, cleaning supplies, or other harmful household products, the city can help you get rid of them with its SAFE Disposal Events (Solvents, Automotive, Flammable, Electronics):

The NYC Department of Sanitation is holding five SAFE Disposal Events this spring (one in each borough) to provide NYC residents with a one-stop method to get rid of potentially harmful household products.

The Brooklyn event is happening right near us at Prospect Park Circle on Sunday, April 7, 10am-4pm. All the pertinent info is on their site here.

Take this opportunity to check under the sink, in closets and basements, and other spots that might be hiding dangerous products that need to be discarded. What are you getting rid of this year?
