Three punks ambushed a man last week in an attempted robbery at an apartment building in Coney Island, cops say.

The suspects stalked their victim, a 24-year-old man, onto an elevator in a building on West 23rd Street on January 24, according to authorities. When they arrived on the 13th floor, the goons allegedly shoved their target into the hallway and began to beat him while demanding money. The victim called for help and the trio fled empty handed, police say.

The victim refused medical attention, according to the NYPD.

Police released surveillance photos of the three suspects.
