Tomorrow at 1pm, tickets go on sale for Rose Water’s annual Salute to Swine. And if there is ever an meal that warrants eating out, it may be this one, because you can boil your own pasta and sear your own tuna and simmer your own soup, but you cannot roast your own whole pig. At least, not easily. ($78 admission — justified).

From Rose Water:

We’re firing up the Party-Que Spit and roasting a fine piggy from an upstate address over hardwood coals. Serve with cole slaw, corn on the cob, heirloom tomatoes, cold draft beer and fresh pink wine and you’ve got one swell porcine summer soirée — we’ll have more fun than a possum in the corn crib with the dog tied up!

More fun than a possum in the corn crib with the dog tied up, you guys!

Word is it’s always a sellout, so get your tickets early — 718-783-3800, phone only.
