Rooftop Fire Breaks Out On 17th Street On Sunday
A fire broke out in the roof of a four-story multi-family home at 159 17th Street, between 3rd and 4th Aves, on Sunday morning.
The FDNY tells us that us that they first responded to the blaze at 9:50am, and had the fire under control by 10:14am. Three firefighters were taken to Methodist Hospital for minor injuries.
When we stopped by earlier today, the exterior of the home looked to be in fairly good shape, and we hope the inside was just as fortunate. We were unable to reach the person listed as the building’s owner to see if residents were able to return after the fire. Does anyone know any additional info?
