Suspect Pushed Elderly Woman And Stole Her Necklace
MIDWOOD – Cops need help searching for a man that pushed and yanked a necklace off an elderly woman earlier this week.
On Monday, June 24 at around 12:47 p.m., an 88-year-old lady was walking on East 21st Street between Avenue J and Ocean Avenue when a man approached her and pushed her to the ground, NYPD tells us. The suspect then removed the woman’s necklace. Cops say he fled to an unknown direction.
The elderly woman was taken to New York Community Hospital where she was treated for bruising and minor pain.
Cops describe the robbery suspect as a 34-year-old black man, wearing a burgundy hoodie and blue jeans, weighing about 190 pounds and 5’8 tall.
