Road Closure Next Week For PS/IS 437 Construction

As construction continues at the future home of PS/IS 437, on Caton Avenue at East 7th Street, neighbors should watch out for a road closure by the site next week that is needed to facilitate some work.

Starting at 7am on Wednesday, September 24 and continuing through 6pm on Friday, September 26, East 7th St will be closed between Caton Avenue and Kermit Place.

According to the School Construction Authority, this phase of the project includes delivering roof top units to facilitate the installation of heating and cooling systems. They’ll use a crane to hoist those units to the roof, and will need to close the street for the crane.
