Rims Stolen From Car Parked on Westminster at Ditmas
All four wheels were stolen from car parked on Westminster Road near Ditmas Avenue, which neighbor Ian spotted jacked up on bricks this morning.
“I can’t believe this still happens,” he writes. “With all the time this must have taken, how did no cops or security drive by?”
Grand larcenies, which is what this would be classified as, are on the rise this year in the 70th Precinct. According to the CompStat report for the week ending February 24, they’re up almost 29% compared to the same period last year.
