Residential Parking Eliminated on Foster Avenue by Ocean Parkway To Improve Flow of Traffic
KENSINGTON -To keep the flow of traffic moving smoothly, DOT has implemented new no standing restrictions on the block between East 5th Street and Ocean Parkway.
Where previously Foster Avenue on that block was one lane of traffic in each direction, with parking restricted fro street cleaning only, now residential parking has been completely eliminated on the southern side of the avenue.
There is some truck parking between East 5th Street and the curb cut about halfway up the block, to allow for deliveries to the supermarket, today it was still occupied by residential vehicles:
