Reports Of Two Pedestrians Hit By Cars This Weekend In Fort Greene & Clinton Hill
Two pedestrians were reported as having been hit by cars over the weekend around Fort Greene and Clinton Hill, with one transport confirmed by the FDNY.
On the night of Friday, October 31, reports surfaced on FDNY-focused Twitter feeds about a pedestrian pinned under a vehicle in front of 545 Classon Avenue (between Putnam Avenue and Fulton Street). Tweets say the victim was aided by Bedford-Stuyvesant’s Engine 235, although a representative for the FDNY was unable to confirm or provide any other information on the incident.
However, the FDNY could confirm a man in his mid-40s was struck yesterday (Sunday, November 2) on Fulton Street near South Oxford Street. Emergency workers responded to a call at 12:25pm, transporting the man to Brooklyn Hospital Center in unknown condition.
We will update upon receiving more information.
