Renovation Work Started At The Former La Guadalupana Taqueria Mexicana On Coney Island Avenue & Turner Place

Thanks to neighbor Harlan for pointing out that renovation work has begun at the old taco place (La Guadalupana Taqueria Mexicana) on Turner Place and Coney Island Avenue.

When we walked by the other day, no one was around to answer questions about what it’s going to be, though we did see that there are Department of Buildings work permits for plumbing and other construction at an eating and drinking place and two-family residence at 509 Coney Island Avenue.

La Guadalupana Taqueria Mexicana was closed by city marshals in the summer of 2013.
