Reminder: Bayfest 2015 Brings Billy Joel’s Band And More To Emmons Avenue On Sunday
Get ready for live music and all-day fun on the waterfront, with the 24th annual Bayfest!
This year, Broadway’s Movin’ Out – Billy Joel’s band – is headlining the main stage, and the group whispers that there’s a possibility the Piano Man himself might show up (no promises, but he’s done it in the past). Also appearing will be Darnaa, the indie pop singer who will perform her single Cowgirl, among others:
Disco Unlimited will bring groovy dance tunes, and there will be other performers, too!
The several-block-long festival will have tables from local groups and organizations like the NY Aquarium, and tons of giveaways, raffles, and more. Oh yeah, and bouncy castles, too!
While you’re on the strip, stop for lunch of dinner at one of the many restaurants, including nearby il Fornetto or Liman, or sit outside at Emmons Palace (formerly Dessert Palace).
