Rejected Kiss Leads To Bloody Punch In Sunset Park Bar, Cops Say

A woman sustained a bloody nose after saying no to advances from another woman while out at a Sunset Park bar and hookah joint.

According to police, the 30-year-old female victim and her 27-year-old female acquaintance were at the Spot Bar & Lounge (483 39 Street near 5th Avenue) on Thursday, November 17. A female suspect approached her at approximately 12:01am.

The suspect attempted to kiss the victim on the lips. After the victim pushed the woman away, the suspect punched her in the face.

The 30-year-old received a bloody nose, but cops say she did not seek medical attention.

The individual fled the bar in an unknown direction.

Police describe the suspect as female, Hispanic, in her 20s, 5’4″, with her hair styled in two buns. She was last seen wearing a long-sleeved shirt and blue jeans.
