Recommend A Project To Community Board 14 Before September 6

Is there a project you’d like to see completed in Ditmas Park? Community Board 14 is currently accepting recommendations for its 2015 fiscal year budget, and they’re asking for your input.

It’s as close as we get to Participatory Budgeting in District 40, so if you have an idea, complete and return CB14’s form by email, fax, or mail by Friday, September 6.

There will be two public hearings after forms are submitted.

• Community project recommendations will be discussed on Monday, September 9 at 7:15pm at Edward R. Murrow High School (E 17th Street between Avenues L and M).
• CB14’s priorities for FY 2015 will be discussed on Monday, October 7 at 7:15pm at PS 249 (18 Marlborough Road between Church and Caton Avenues).

And, if you have a great idea you’d like to see completed in the neighborhood, we’re interested to hear it too.
