Ready To Touch-A-Truck? PS 295 Fundraiser Returns Saturday
Touch-A-Truck-31

Find out what makes a concrete mixer work, sit behind the wheel of a fire truck, take a close-up look at a tow truck, and more when the wildly popular PS 295 fundraiser, Touch-A-Truck, returns to 18th Street this Saturday, May 2 from 12-5pm.

It’s a fun chance for kids who are mesmerized by trucks to get really, really close to them. The only thing off limits (because, honestly, oy) are the horns — no honking, kids!

There will also be arts and crafts, a DJ, bouncy houses, face painting, and delicious goodies from food trucks like Souvlaki GR, Kimchi Taco Truck, Gorilla Cheese NYC, and more, plus coffee from our own Southside.

Saturday’s event will be held rain or shine (thought it’s looking like a lot of shine at the moment) on 18th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues. Tickets are $8 per person or $15 for two, but no charge for infants carried or worn by their parents.

For more information, and a complete list of participating vehicles, visit the PS 295 website.
