Neighbor Helayne asks:

I have fond memories of clotheslines as a kid, love the smell of line dry, and want to be eco-friendly. But, I want to know about people’s experiences in our nabe (stolen clothes?) and what type of line they used. Does anyone install laundry lines, pulley system and all?

She says she’s considering hanging a line or getting an umbrella-type device. Anyone have some advice?
