Puppetry Arts’ 10th Annual Haunted Halloween Carnival Is This Saturday
Haunted Halloween Carnival 2014

This Saturday, October 25 from 11am-3pm, join local non-profit Puppetry Arts New York for its 10th annual Haunted Halloween Carnival at the 1st Street Recreation Center of PS 372, on 1st Street between 4th and 3rd Avenues. The spooktacular family-friendly event is free, there’s a costume contest every hour (featuring celebrity judge Tuffy Tiger), and the first 200 kids receive a free gift bag filled with goodies.

There will be plenty of free activities and photo opportunities with R2-D2 and the 501st and Rebel Legions Star Wars characters Darth Vader, Stormtroopers, and Jedi Knights, plus there will be $2 crafts and games, a $3 haunted house, $4 T-shirt decorating, and a $4 bounce house.

All funds raised from the event will be used to support free cultural programs in area schools and youth shelters.

More than 100 volunteers help make this great event happen — if you can help out, contact info@puppetryarts.org for more info.
