Public Schools, Libraries Closed Tomorrow

Because of Hurricane Sandy, all New York City public schools will be closed on Monday, October 29, including all after-school activities and PSAL events, says the Department of Education. An announcement about whether schools will be open on Tuesday will be made on Monday, so continue to monitor the news and the DOE’s website for the latest updates.

Also due to hurricane warnings, all locations of the Brooklyn Public Library will be closed on Monday.
