SPECIAL ORDER CALENDAR (SOC): A Special Order Calendar application has been filed with the Board of Standards and Appeals (BSA) to extend the term of the previously granted variance, which expired on July 30, 2016 for another ten (10) years, which will expire on July 30, 2026. The variance, which has been granted for the past 52 years, allows for an auto shop facility to continue servicing this area at the below-referenced location.

CATON PARK NURSING HOME REZONING: A Uniform Land Use Review Procedure (ULURP) application No. C 180393 ZMK has been submitted by the applicant, Caton Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, seeking a Zoning Map amendment from an R3X Zoning District to an R6A Zoning District which would extend the existing R6A Zoning District east towards Rugby Road and facilitate a fifth-floor enlargement of an existing nursing home, without any increase in beds available.

The proposed Rezoning Area consists of Block 5074, portions of Lots 4 and 14 in Community District 14. In addition to this application, the applicant has filed a related ULURP application No. N 180394 ZRK seeking a Zoning Text amendment to amend Zoning Resolution (“ZR”) Appendix F: Inclusionary Housing Designated Areas and Mandatory Inclusionary Housing Areas for Brooklyn Community District 14.
