Public Advocate’s Worst Landlords List Puts NYCHA At The Top

The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) was added to the list that since 2010 has focused on the city’s worst private landlords, for the first time, and turns out the largest landlord in the city, is also its worst.

Of the NYCHA buildings listed, Red Hook East and West came at the top, with Gravesend not far behind, and Brooklyn in general rather well represented.

We will do a deeper dive on the Brooklyn properties, public and private, on this list in the new year. The full list for The Worst Landlords 2018 and their building can be found on their site, here are the worst private landlords and top 15 worst buildings in Brooklyn, according to the Public Advocate, follows:
